June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month!

June is the month dedicated to Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness by the Alzheimer's Association to bring support and awareness to loved ones with Alzheimer's. We know that this is a time when we can educate the community more about how Alzheimer's affects the brain and also lend support to those who give care to others with this disease.

If you want to get involved this month to continue the Brain Awareness conversation, here are a few different ideas:

●      “Go Purple!” Purple is the color for the foundation and by wearing a purple ribbon or framing your Facebook post with the awareness filter, you can begin the conversation with others.

●      Sharing photos of your loved ones and tagging us! We would love to see your story and bring that education to social media.

●      Staying educated on Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. This is important so that you can stay up to date on signs and warnings to be aware of if a loved one may be developing signs of Alzheimer’s.
