Need Short or Long Term Care?

Now that you have started the conversation about your loved one needing a memory care community, we want to assist with understanding: does your loved one need short or long-term care?

We have seen that some caregivers simply need a vacation or short time spent away. If this is you, you need a Short-Term Stay program. This is a program providing temporary relief to a primary caregiver from the continuous support and care of an adult with a memory care diagnosis. Within this program, your loved one is moved into the community for a short period of time where they will be treated as a permanent resident. They will have the opportunity to join in on all activities, dining times, and other amenities like our hair salon. The goal of this program is to offer short-term relief to you as the caregiver without the stress or guilt of your loved one’s care.

If you see that you are needing long-term assistance, we are here to speak with you about that process. We offer virtual and in-person tours as well as round table discussions about which would be best for you and your loved one's position. We would love to serve you and your family whether it is for a short or long-term need.

At Westminster Memory Care, we firmly believe that what remains is far more important than what is lost. We are driven to deliver the highest level of Memory Care and service to our residents and their families.
